“…a rising tide of liberty will never be reversed.” -final sentence of Obama’s address to the leaders of the United Nations in New York this morning

Lately I’ve been getting more into the clarity that comes with always building upon what I agree with, and letting that be a window into which I can speak a bridge into existence…I agree with Mr. President Obama that the rising tide of liberty that is currently swelling near to floodpoint will not be reversed. I would like to look a little deeper into the window of this tide of liberty. Where is it swelling? It is in the hearts and minds of each and every one of us, and what will make it irreversable is the locally resilient nature of an interconnected network of awareness. As we learn, and are able to share our learning with the world as we now can, a world is so near we can touch it in which bottom up sustainability with overflow to the network around exists at the level of the individual to friends and family, and from families to towns, and towns to areas, and henceforth to what we call states and countries, leading to a world of life that will be harmonious and resilient. It is knowledge of things like permaculture spreading everywhere, not any globally central, locally blind agenda, that is what is causing the world to become this. And it’s happening. You can’t stop it, no matter how pessimistic you wanna be. It’s like Mr. President Obama said: It’s irreversable.

“There’s no room to rise up
when you start at the top
bottom up, bottom up, is the only way to fill a cup.
Be the reason we’re startin’ to heal.”

  2. I am so proud of you Tim! You take your dreams and proceed to live it out. Live your life to the fullest my wonderful nephew. Love you!

  3. Hey, most people are looking FOR Avalon, and you are already there and gone! Power to you Man of Sea and Seeds! Congrats on your new website, Tim, it looks wonderful!

  4. Buon giorno, Tim. My girlfriend and I met you the other day biking in front of the Belmont Shore Pier (if you try to bike behind a pier you get really wet). I asked hesitantly if that was an oo-ka-lay-lay and hopefully not a wo-mandolin you were carrying. I’m glad you told me about your “a human journey”, I like the music, and hopefully we can jam when you’re back in Belmont/Long Beach. You can check out my URL in a week or two when it’s back up and I’ll keep perusing yours to check your global progress.
    Bon voyage and godspeed.
